Brown Girls
Directed by Sam Bailey
Loosely based on creator Fatimah Asghar’s own life, BROWN GIRLS follows the lives of Leila, a South Asian writer in the midst of navigating and owning her queerness, and her friend Patricia, who struggles to find meaning financially, romantically and creatively.
With its Broad City meets Insecure vibes, this new web series paints an intimate portrait of two young women of color navigating their relationships, families, sexual orientations and the messiness of being in your mid-20s.
Expected Guests in Attendance: Fatimah Asghar (Writer), Nabila Hossain (Actor)
